It’s Cold, Bestie. I’ve Got You Covered! Literally.

Brianna Barberio

6 more weeks of winter? Immediately no.

You may not be able to control the weather, but you can control what’s in your closet. The Basics Collection features everyday staples in neutral tones designed for effortless, on-the-go layering. Built to keep you warm, so even when winter refuses to leave, you can still leave the house without regretting it.

A Different Side of Harvest Moon Gemz

If you know me, you know I usually create with bold colors, whimsical imagery and dreamy details. I design pieces that feel little adventurous and magical. But sometimes you just need to get your head down from the clouds to get things done. The Basics Collection has always been my everyday answer to that energy.

It’s the side of HMG made for real life. The pieces that work Monday through Sunday. The ones you can throw on without thinking and still feel completely put together.

Elevated Essentials in Neutral Tones

When I created The Basics Collection, I wanted versatile everyday clothing that anyone could wear anytime. It features muted earthy tones like sand and olive green, grounded in timeless black and white. Clean. Intentional. Easy to style. Easy to layer. Every piece is designed to be a strong foundation for cozy winter outfits and effortless streetwear looks.

They’re called basics — but there’s nothing basic about them.

It’s Cold. Layer Up.

Winter doesn’t always leave when we want it to and this one has been especially brutal. That’s why I designed this collection with warmth and layering in mind, so you can stay comfortable without sacrificing your style.

You’ll find:

  • Cozy sherpa jackets
  • Soft everyday t-shirts
  • Beanies and hats
  • A versatile tote bag
  • Layer-ready hoodies

Each piece is designed to mix, match, and layer effortlessly. Perfect for errands, coffee runs, travel days, and those “I just need to leave the house but I still want to look good” moments.

Honestly, I wear these pieces constantly. They’re easy, comfortable, and when I step out in them, I get compliments every single time.

The HMG 56 Hoodie (My Favorite Easter Egg)

You already know I had to add at least one bold piece, and the meaning behind it makes it that much better.

The HMG 56 Hoodie is bright red with a modern, abstract “56” design on the back. It’s a standout piece in an otherwise neutral collection, and it’s completely intentional.

The number 56 is my angel number. I see it everywhere. Over time, it became my signature number for Harvest Moon Gemz. To me, it represents alignment, abundance, and trusting the path I’m on.

So when you wear 56, you’re not just wearing a number, you're literally the sign that someone needed to see.

Every Piece Has Its Own Gem

Just like the name suggests, every piece carries its own gem. You’ll find “Harvest” throughout the collection, honoring the meaning behind Harvest Moon Gemz. Harvest represents growth, gathering, and reaping what you’ve nurtured.

You’ll also see the word “Abundance,” because harvest and abundance go hand in hand. One is the action. The other is the reward.

Every piece carries something intentional — a word, a number, a meaning… a gem.

Basics for Every Season

My favorite thing about The Basics Collection is that the pieces don’t expire when the temperature changes. It’s built to move with you through every season. Right now, it’s your go-to for staying warm, but when spring finally starts to peek through, you can shed the heavy layers and keep the foundations.

No matter what it’s like outside, we’re in this together. But for now, if it’s cold where you are, bestie, I’ve got you covered!

Literally.
